So this post is going to be a little bit embarrassing for me, because I will be posting before and after pics from P90X! Overall, I really like this exercise and diet program. The diet was really easy to follow and I never was craving any one thing because the diet never left out certain food groups. It was more of portion control and high protein low carbohydrate diet, at least for the first phase. We actually didn't veer to much from the first phase because it was easy to do, we were losing weight at a healthy pace, and because Graham just wanted to lose more weight before he moved on to the maintaining phases.
The workouts were good. There are definitely some I like more than others and it did start getting old for me at the end. The end was really hard to persevere especially on days where Graham and I couldn't work out together. Working out together was really fun! So for 90 days (13 weeks!) we worked out on average an hour and fifteen minutes a day 6 days a week! The 7th day was always stretching.
I don't necessarily feel that much stronger, but when I think about how many push-ups I can do now and how I can easily do Ab Ripper X (which I tried for the first time at my friend's house before we purchased P90X and I probably did half of the ab exercises and couldn't hardly lift my leg the next day!), I realize I've come a pretty long way. I only lost 8.9lbs. which at first glance I'm pretty bummed out because I worked out for 1.25hours 6 days a week for 13 weeks only to lose 8.9lbs!! But then I realized that I most likely lost more fat weight than that but it was replaced by muscle which is more dense than fat and thus a smaller amount weighs more. So I'm pretty happy with 8.9lbs lost which put me at a BMI of 22.14.
Ok, so enough of the babble and on to the pictures
Honestly, I don't see much of a difference with these two. Which is starting to depress me. I wanted to see more change in the stomach area, but one thing I do notice is those two lines that start narrowing by the hips. I didn't have them in the before picture and now I do.
The changes in Graham have been amazing! I believe he has lost about 30lbs. But I won't embarrass him here by posting his pictures...sorry :)
We plan on continuing the P90X workouts adding some additional workout like running in there but probably not 6 days a week. By the time I post this I'll be in the Bahamas soaking up some sun strutting my stuff because I am now beach body ready!!

So proud of you guys! Hope you have a wonderful trip (and I can tell a different in your arms-- toned & sexy!). Try not to stop too much traffic while on vacay!
Lots of love,

That's great you were both able to find something you both enjoy! Keep up the good work!
I'm so proud of and impressed with you guys for sticking to it. What happens next, now that you've powered through the 90 days???
8.9 pounds is FANTASTIC - especially with all that working out. And you look great! To me you look more toned all around. Besides your back, I especially see it in your face and legs. Keep up the healthy habits! Love you :)
