Destination 1: Nashville, TN

First stop-Nashville!
Well, we made it to Nashville. The drive didn't seem so bad (about 7 hours) because there were so many new things to see. After we checked in to our Hotel we made our way to dinner. We ate at the Blackstone Brewery. They had six different micro brews and Graham couldn't decide so he decided to have the sampler.

He liked 5/6 of them. So it was good that he was able to try them all. Even the food was pretty good.

After dinner we headed downtown to see some live music. We stopped in to Layla's Hillbilly Inn to see some live bluegrass music. Downtown was empty since it was a Sunday night, but this place seem to be the popular venue of the night. We didn't bring the camera, so unfortunately we don't have any pictures that capture the moment. But it was a bluegrass band with 3 girls and 3 guys. And one girl had bright pink hair and another girl looked like a stepford wife (robot/doll), but the music was really good. After that we called it a night and headed back to the hotel.

In the morning we were able to have breakfast with our friend Jim Baker, who was visiting Nashville at the same time. Then we headed down to Centennial Park to see Nashville's Parthenon. On the way we stopped to take a picture of something you see all around Nashville. A sign showing where the live music venues are.
