Sorry for the long delay in posts! It has been slightly busy with travel and then preparing for our move! We traveled back to VA for a wedding, spent a weekend in Northern California with the CA family (a post on that soon), and I was in Wisconsin for a work conference.
In the meantime I have already secured a job for when we get to Florida, which is a huge huge praise and a confirmation to our leap of faith. I will be working in the biomedical sciences department at FSU. I'm switching organisms from Plants to fruit flies so that should be interesting! The job starts Aug. 8 which is exactly when Graham starts classes--perfect timing!
Our plans for moving are hardly planned at all! Which is totally against my nature. The problem is we are having trouble deciding where to live and depending on where we live the move-in date is slightly different. Our current thought is to live in graduate student housing temporarily while we actually try to purchase a condo/townhouse!! So I will keep you posted!
Anyways...sorry about the non-picture post...just trying to get myself back in the blogging habit!
